Hard drive temp exceeded 40 degrees C and bad things happened to the drive.I have Ubuntu on the same system on a second hard drive. She can watch online TV with Ubuntu with no temperature problems. The two drives had similar specs. Memory usage must be more efficient in Ubuntu.

My daughter used my desktop with limited memory and less than perfect cooling to watch online TV with Windows.
