It is quite nice and it has a plethora of applications that Ubuntu and Xubuntu don't include.I love the Usplash, its simple. Its a very simple system and I like the simplicity of it.The only thing I dont like is the 'Be' look, the XFWM theme is based off of BeOS and he uses the Echo theme which is kind of Be-ish but its XFCE so it has a lot of themes and icons and wallpapers that you can change. My wife loves it. She actually said it was the first distro of Linux that she can use that doesnt feel alien to her. It didnt hurt that everything from Flash and all kinds of video worked for her out of box. It is the first version and I look forward to what this distribution brings to the game. But as for dumbing down Linux for the desktop user its extremely good. I sent the developer an e-mail about a problem that I had with my video card in a laptop and he stayed with me until we fixed it unlike some other distros where you send them an e-mail and its ignored.
