Hello everyone! I'm back from the Easter break and found this little gem in my email. It outlines how to play BlueRay and HD DVD in Ubuntu Linux.

In a nutshell it covers the need for mplayer and ffmpeg as well as DumpHD and the required hardware. I've not tried this yet (I don't have an HD DVD player). I looked at the HD DVD player recommended for this and yikes! The price is $219 CAN. A bit beyond my budget unfortunately. However, that aside, the post is really great!

Hope you enjoy it:  RestrictedFormats/BluRayAndHDDVD
